Natwest BTL Mortgage

Applied BTL re-mortgage through NatWest.

Mortgage was approved last week subject to valuation and valuation was done mid of this week.

The last I was told application is in their "offer queue".

Any idea how long it takes them to process mortgage application after valuation?

I saw a post on here say about four days. My broker spoke to them Monday (residential mortgage) and they said it was in the queue. On Friday I rang them and was told it would be posted out within 48 hours, so potentially not until Tuesday which is 7 working days..!

Let's wait for 4 another days then as I was only told it was in offer queue on Friday.

Hopefully NatWest sends electronic copy to broker otherwise wait for another 3 to 4 days for post to arrive.

I am using their solicitor panel and I have no idea when they will instruct them and how long they will take. My one is a remortgage application so no sale involve but I think I should prepare myself for another couple of weeks:)

Mine seemed to be going through quite quick but this bit has been the slowest

- Applications that have been fully packaged as of Wednesday 22nd July and assessing Further Information received on Monday 20th July.'

So there is a delay of 4 days. My application went to Offer Queue on Friday.

Not sure at what stage they instruct their panel solicitor?

I have a BTL remortgage application so next thing is to find out how long it will be taken by the solicitor?

If their is long delay, could I instruct my own solicitor?

Do they post offer 1st class post to solicitor?
