Hi I'm really confused and could really do with some help regarding this matter I will start at the beginning.
Ok two years ago both myself and husband got ourselves into a lot of money issues (which we are now sorting slowly) well I had Equita for council tax for £323.80 which we tried to set up payment but they wanted way more than we could afford then had last years one as well which we also tried to sort with them but couldn't afford there payments. Both were then sent back to the council where we made arrangements to pay both off on a weekly basis which we have kept to the first one the smaller one went back at £206 and last years at full amount. The smaller one has now been paid off and I've been paying the bigger one off at more than they have asked for got a lovely lady in the phone saying she was proud of me made me smile. Well comes my issue now, Equita are still wanting money off me but I don't understand what I'm meant to be paying (I get there charges) I got a letter through saying:
I called today to etc etc
Client debt £323.80
Court fee 0
Compliance fee £75
Enforcement fee £235
Total paid £227.50
Total outstanding £406.30
Now if I've paid the council the £206 how do I owe them this amount also I don't know if it's true but if the enforcement notice is over a year old can they still enforce it thank you for any help.

Not quite sure but I'm feeling your pain with equity! Had my first bailiff here today and I'm devastated and angry that I let it get this far!
I have to phone him back Monday as he wants full payment but I won't have it!
Anyway that's what mine says £75 liability fee and £235 for turning up and posting a letter!0 -
The two statutory fees have been in place since the new rules came in in April 2014.
I've checked the numbers and they seem correct. The debt rose to £633.80 after you did not reach agreement on a payment plan during the compliance period.
They say you have paid 227.50 of that. If you think you have paid more than this you need to challenge their figures.
The 206.00 and 323.80 were separate liability orders for separate years, if I understand your post correctly0
