    1. Park the van at the company's HQ along with all the other vans

So, his first call of the day is three miles west of his home but he's got to go 30 miles east to pick up the van, then 33 miles west again before he even gets to the job, possibly meaning that he's not at the first job until the best part of an hour after starting - alternatively, he could garage at home and be on the first job of the day within minutes of starting work.

So which is the more efficient use of resources?
A usual on this riidiculous forum a thread get's derailed.......................
Not quite sure how you can claim the thread's been derailed when people reply to your original comment about companies having their employees park at home, claiming that it's inefficient.

The social housing stock in London alone is worth ~£250 billion

All of it should be sold off the money can be used elsewhere.

Maybe use that £250 billion to extend and build many more tube lines.
Cross rail cost £15 billion and will give 40 stations. Double the tube infrastructure by adding 270 more stations to a new larger greater London. That will eat up just over £100B.

Use £50B to set up a 90% state owned building company. Put them to work building this new greater London (selling off the homes not more ghettos social homes)

You still have £100B maybe build some world class use able accessable parks in this greater London rather than greenbelt land you cant go walk in as the farmer jist sprayed twenty tons of eye burning pesticide to kill all the life on the fields but the potatoes he will sell to tesco

let this new London grow to 18 million by 2050

    3. Use assets more efficiently

.....I was sure you didn't understand, and as usual I was correct.

It's a shame that when people don't understand the thread they have to insist on derailing it with balalities.

At £ 25000 each we could buy 10000000 vans with that. That 2 each for the whole of Scotland I think. Much more beneficial
Left is never right but I always am.
