Free McDonalds Glass

What the hell are you talking about? You have been to mcdonalds 5 times in June 2009 and the offer for free glasses is advertised at your restaurant? Not only that but you mention it every time, the glasses are there on display and the mcdonalds staff mention them too?
Or maybe you're making it up?

This is in response to laurz. First of all, yes I went to mcdonalds in milton vermont today, which is June 21st 2009. Yes Mcdonals is advertising and giving away free glasses with the purchase of a large extra value meal. Yes, I have gone there 5 times this month! What is soo hard to believe about that? First your response makes absolutely zero sense. Let me see if I can explain this better. Everytime I go up to the drivethrough and order a value meal, the employee asks me if I want to make it a large in order to receive a free glass. I say yes. I pull up to the window to get my food. EVERYTIME, they hand me my food and drink and say "Have a nice day". I say to them "Where is my free glass". They say "It's in the bag". I look in the bag and it's not there. My free glass is sitting right inside the drivethrough window right next to the employee. The only way they give it to me EVERYTIME is to show them that it's not in the bag. Then they give it to me. This happens EVERYTIME. My point to the entire post is why is Milton vermont mcdonalds doing this? Or is it happening to other people as well?

I don't think they would wait for a customer to order a meal before taking one, surely they would just help themselves to the glass. They do work there after all!

yep, they do help themselves to everything. i had a friend who was sent to MacD'S for work experiance, and he picked up all the glasses and also helped himself to their doughnuts and muffins.

Hubbie came home with a glass for me

On the packaging there is a code you can enter into the coke zone web site. Just won a £5 HMV voucher So make sure you check yours !!

We only go to Macs about once every 2-3 months so unlikly we will get any more glasses this time but got 2 last time and 1 the time before that

Many thanks for this I had 3 and i just put them away in the cupboard. Didnt even realise they had coke zone points on

I didn't realise until reading the above post that there were Coke Zone codes on them I had already opened 2 glasses and disposed of the packaging, but thanks to cambourne7 I managed to salvage our third one (although sadly didnt win anything!). The offer is on until next week I think (or end of this week) so will hopefully pick up one or two more glasses before it finishes!

Does anyone know when the last two designs are available? I thought it might be Monday so went yesterday but they only had the old ones left.

Have to admit that although I like the design of these it was so much easier to ask the staff for the different colours, they seem to get very confused when I request certain dates!
