It’s World Tequila Day on 24th July, and that means it’s the perfect excuse for us to round up our favourite tequilas and give the whole damn lot away to one of you.
People seem to have a love/hate with tequila, but times are changing (it’s becoming the most popular spirit don’tcha know?), and the days of knocking back a warm red hat Sierra are no more. Those Mexicans are doing amazing things with tequila production, it’s a true art form. Sip it, try it in an Old Fashioned, make a load of Tommy’s Margaritas – but whatever you do drink the good stuff. Here’s BarChick’s round up of the world’s finest tequilas and how to drink ‘em like a pro.

Competition is open to all UK residents (over the age of 18 in alcohol, tobacco or travel-related competitions, and in other cases as stated) except our employees, the companies or organisations with whom the competition or offer is being run, their agents, or anyone directly connected with the promotion.
Prizes will only be shipped to UK addresses unless otherwise stated.
The closing date for receipt of entries is as stated for each individual competition. The winner(s) will be drawn at random from all valid entries, and will be notified by email within two weeks of the closing date.
If we run a competition or offer with a promoter where that promoter is responsible for the provision of the offer or prizes then BarChick will not be responsible for or have any liability for the provision of those offers or prizes.
We reserve the right to disqualify or not award a prize to an entrant who in our opinion has not entered in to the spirit of these terms and conditions or the intention of the competition.
Entries must be submitted in the formats specified in the entry form. BarChick reserves the absolute right to reject any incorrect or incomplete entries.
Competition can be extended or cancelled at anytime without notice and at the discretion of BarChick.
No entrance fee or purchase is required to enter the competition.
BarChick will never share your information with another party.
Only one entry is permitted per household via online route of entry, and no bulk or third party entries are permitted.
BarChick may require winners to take part in post-competition publicity. Winning entries and names of runners up may be published on the BarChick website and email newsletters.
No alternative cash or otherwise to the stated prizes are available.
BarChick shall be obliged to contact the prize winner only at their address given on the entry form.
Any prize not claimed within 5 days of sending notification of a winning entry shall be forfeited. BarChick may award the prize to another entrant.
