I want to do this and have seachred for links to give practical advise but can't find anything,
does anyone have a blank diary or some sort of format I could use. A year ago I got a 1000 loan to clear my overdraft and pay of credit card, i have one payment left on the loan but more debt than i started with, i'm really annoyed :mad: with myself and want to start making inroads into my debt, but don't know where to start
I'm probably setting myself up for 'spend less' etc, but if anyone has recently started a debt diary or has been succesful with one please give me a shout or post up links/examples.
All will be thankfully received, :T:beer::j

Hi, There is no format for starting a debt diary. What we do suggest is reading the first time posters thread by Southern Scouser at the top of this forum and list a statement of affairs in the format shown there.
As for the diary then please feel free to just start a thread or continue this one. The 1st time posters thread can be found here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280

Hi
As Crown said there is no format... just whatever takes your fancy. Have a look at the first time posters thread.
But this is the link to my diary, if you fancy a read (it's a lot of waffle, so I'll appologise now!)
