Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
We are half way through the month!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

So, today I will:
- check online banking and update spreadsheet
- do a mystery shop that the whole family can do - free day out!
- see an extra client that I sneaked in

- do a matched bet or two
- buy new tyres for car after OH has spent HOURS comparing prices to get the cheapest!
- do clicks and surveys
- buy a new academic year diary - I will get ultra organised....
- be positive
- keep my credit card spending to a minimum (need tyres!)

Today I'm going to create my DFW plan & have a NSD.
Already, winning, coz i've decided to "work from home" rather than travel 80 miles to work - thus saving the diesel! But actually losing the 40p per mile expenses.

2) Made an appointment with CCCS for tomorrow morning!
3) Paid £1200 off a company debt, and £500 off another.
4) Agreed to collect 12 desks FOC from a company to sell via ebay & classifieds! Relatively free money!

I've just agreed for a friend of mine to be my 'Debt Mentor'! No idea, what this means but i figured it might be useful to bounce ideas off her, scream when needed, and generally a problem shared is a problem halved!
I love this thread and I love this forum. After my last & final LBM on Tuesday the momentum has continued and is probably increasing!Debts at 02/02/20: c£225,000 inc CCs of <£1000 repaid in full monthlyDebts at 14/07/10: £278,091 inc £24k unenforceable and £16k consumer debt.
