B&Q to close two NI stores

In March, the DIY retailer announced it was to close as many as 60 of its stores across the UK.
At the time it would not say which of its nine Northern Ireland stores would be affected.
On Friday it confirmed the Londonderry store and the Boucher Road outlet would close by the end of this financial year.
The company refused to say how many staff would be affected.
A B&Q spokesman commented: “Colleagues in our Derry and Boucher Road, Belfast stores have been advised that their stores are included in the proposed store closures in this financial year.”

B&Q swapping a lot of the business to their Screwfix operation .
