Am not sure the role has any particular meaning other than satisfying the contract G4S has with the govt. But from the link I posted I would suggest that role would involve:
Driving (lots of it)
Working late 7pm to 7am
"Customer Service" e.g. your customer could be quite challenging
Fitting and removing ankle tags of said people
Write up reports
Monitoring the system to see who is or has broken curfew
Dealing and referring to the BiB
Routine checks on people
Checking they haven't been tampered
Or it could be simply sat in an office monitoring a system and alerting other colleagues or Bib to intervene entirely depends on their model.
Maybe ringing Reed in the morning and asking them if they have a more detailed job description would help you decide whether to apply or not.0 -
The "Field" bit of the job title suggests that you are likely to be out and about rather than sitting in an office waiting for an alarm to beep.0

I don't think anyone can say anything more helpful than...Maybe ringing Reed in the morning and asking them if they have a more detailed job description would help you decide whether to apply or not.0 -
Why not just read what the job spec says?Comply fully with any curfew order, including installation and removal of curfew equipment in subject homes
Fully investigate any incidents that may occur during curfew order period
Check all equipment on issue and collection from subjects home
So as it says, you will be visiting peoples homes to put ankle tags on people or whatever other kit is used for monitoring curfews. If there is an incident you will go investigate - ie is it a kit fault that says the person is out their home when actually they never left etc. You also recover kit once someone's curfew has been lifted0 -
