Alimemazine - any experiences?

I've been prescribed Alimemazine to help with sleep. It's an "old fashioned" antihistamine according to my GP. I'm just wondering if anyone here has experience of it, and if it leaves you with a hangover the next day. My experience of a few medications that help you to sleep are that they tend to make you feel rather zombie-like the next day!
