No this is the first 3 months statements they have asked for...I will be unimpressed if they then request another 3 months after this, why not just ask for 6 months? I may just send more in just in case to save time!! :rotfl:

Good luck with completion on Monday, I can't wait for that day to arrive for us- hopefully we won't be too far behind you :D

All requested documentation sent back last Wednesday.. received to Broker Thursday. They questioned a cash deposit on one statement which we have provided explanation for so just waiting on update now.....the anticipation is not good for my health

Devastating news that our mortgage application has today been declined. My broker advises that it wasn't anything particular but he was getting the impression the senior underwriter just wasn't happy enough to give us the offer. Have been told to wait a year... or if I go alone in my name only can only get half the amount we wanted as the bulk of deposit was from other half's mum.... the fact it has taken soooo long to get a no is just like a big fat kick in the teeth... :-(

Very sorry to hear that :-(((
  • I am very sorry to hear that OP. We have an AIP with Precise due to my credit history and are about to put in a full application so I am now very worried! Can I ask what sort of situation you're in with your credit history? I know it varies from person to person.

Well our situation is I have clean credit file but was previously in an IVA which was successfully completed last year. My boyfriend had 4 defaults but one was less than 2 years old. We did have a 25% deposit. But we are trying to appeal so will keep you posted if anything changes.
  • I'll keep everything crossed for you, hopefully they let you appeal!

Thank you- it went back for review at 9am this morning and still not heard back... very hard to concentrate at work with this on my mind :-(
  • We haven't even started our full application yet (waiting for the vendor to find a property) and I'm already having sleepless nights about being declined so I feel for you!
