SOA template

Do anyone know if there is a SOA template for sending to debt collectors,
AND!!!! Are there any examples to show what to enter and where

  • not sure hun, u could try copying southernscousers soa at the top of dfw forum, but why do u want to send it to debt collectors anyway? just offer them what u think u can afford and BE FIRM with them, they will squeeze more out of you if they think they can! Also make sure you clear the biggest balance/apr ones first

  • Hi thanks for the reply, they are my daughters ongoing debts one of which is with moorcroft. I have just sent off proof of debt letters downloaded from this site.
    Re the SOA, I assumed that one should send off a SOA to prove lack of funds to pay the debts

  • no, they neither need the soa nor should have it, moorcroft are a pain in the a**e how much does ur daughter owe them? why not pop up ur dd soa so i can have a look?

  • newest >>> hl legal (littlewoods) £121- offering to take £60 now or if we do not pay will add £70 court costs - Have sent off letter claiming statute barred as this has been "sleeping" for more than seven years.

    CL Finance - £519 - have sent off letters downloaded from this site requesting prouf of debt etc

    Moorcroft (re:- monument) - £702 as above

    Income single mum on benifit

    HSBC £1,922 - paying off at £5 per month until jan 2039
  • ok well moorcroft werent bad with me, i paid then a fiver a month till i got myself a part time job and paid them off in full, has ur daughter got anything she can sell on ebay? if she hasnt got the internet u could always do it for her... carboot sales etc
