In search of a diary...

Back when I joined this site, I spent ages reading over some of the long threads, and there was one in particular that made a real impact on me. I've been looking for it again ever since and just can't find it.
I think it was a debt-free diary of a young man who was living on minimum wage, and who got a job miles away from his home. But he was so determined to earn his money by working rather than relying on JSA that he walked for 3(?) hours there and 3 hours back every day. Eventually some kind person on the thread bought him a bicycle.
I'd really love to read through his journey again. Does anyone else remember the thread and have a URL for it?

Did you ever subscribe. Would it be on your user cp? Or did you comment on it. You could perhaps track back this way.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

My advice would be to use Google's search rather than the forum's own search. I have found websites I have long forgotten the location of, using Google's awesome search algorithms.
use simple keywords as a search term, enclose strings of text with quotation marks and most importantly, at the end of a search query, include the following text:
site:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com
This narrows the search down to MSE forums only.

Hmm... I'm trying, but I can't narrow it down enough. All I can think of to search on is 'debt-free wannabe' and 'bicycle'. I've tried 'walk' and 'job', but no joy.Mortgage when started: £330,995
