    You may be able to save money by paying off the maximum you can penalty-free and leaving the rest to be cleared by the following month's normal payment. However, you would have to read the T&Cs to check that this would work for your loans.

    That definitely wouldn't work with NatWest. The 'penalty' is applied to full and partial repayments.
