Full and final offer

I had a full and final settlement letter from Lowell and I accepted and paid the £30. Today I received a letter thanking me for the repayment and to contact them to pay off the outstanding balance. Is this normal practice or are they chancing their arm? Should I write to them again, would anyone have a template letter I could use/ Thanks

Have you still got the letter? I would write back and attach a copy of the letter and just say that as far as you are concerned, as you paid their offer, the matter is now closed, and could they please update their records accordingly.

Any offer of settlement you make, or they make to you, should contain the following sentence :

"This offer is made on the understanding that neither you or your agents will pursue the balance".

keep in mind for future reference.

    Advice above is good.
