London Travel- help!

I know it's only July but I need to get organised to know what I'm doing due to various medical conditions so here goes.
So I'm going to London in December. I thought an Oyster card might be useful but my travel plans are complicated! So here goes- suggestions would be good please!
Journey 1- St Pancras to Richmond. Journey 2- Richmond to Hayes and Harlington. That's on the Saturday. Having checked out the routes my preference would be via Waterloo on the way out and Waterloo and Paddington on the return.
Journey 3 will be on the Monday- Hayes and Harlington to Redhill, via Paddington and London Bridge. Journey 4- Redhill to St Pancras, preferably changing at East Croydon as I really don't wish to brave the Tube at the time I will be travelling (early evening)
I am disabled, I walk with sticks but I should have all my luggage on my back so I shouldn't have anything much to carry. No Railcards. I don't understand where I can and can't use Oyster so some pointers would be useful- I have a feeling I'm going to need to start saving soon!!! Thanks :)

Are you eligible for a Disabled Railcard? If so, and you are arriving by train, it may be worth getting one. If you are arriving by other means and not doing any other journeys then it wouldn't be worth it.

Do you have a contactless payment card? If so, and you are not using a Railcard discount, you do not need to use an Oyster card.

Oyster and contactless is accepted in this area: https://tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/london-rail-and-tube-services-map.pdf

Redhill requires a paper ticket, but all the rest is fine for Oyster/contactless.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.
I'm not eligible for a Disabled Railcard unfortunately and I only have a basic cash account so my Visa Debit is not contact less and I have no credit cards. That's why I'm thinking I need an Oyster. :) I'm going to stay in Redhill overnight now as I'm thinking it might be too much for me so I'll now be coming back late morning from Redhill, maybe around lunchtime.
