Provident loan troubles

hi, before anyone flames me, yes i know Provident are major rip off merchants, i had no where else to borrow money from at the time and needed to borrow it , im technically classed as disabled and am on ESA in the support group. Basically the original provident collector stopped coming round, a gentleman turned up on my doorstep unannounced one night at nearly 9pm explaining that he was the new collector and that the old one had stopped collecting and had consequently left lots of errors in peoples collection books mine being one of them so he wanted the book, he showed me the provident app on his phone and it turned out i even know his son. anyway to cut a long story short i have paid this guy twice now and never had a reciept they took my book for 'auditing' purposes whenever he does turn up its at nearly 9pm by which time my evening meds have kicked in, the last two times he hasnt shown up and im getting letters saying im in arrears! they were also hinting that i am really behind from what the guy who by their own admission had put in my orginal collection book, the boss and the new collector actually came round to my house i guess to try and intimidate me to pay off some of this arrears which they couldn't show me as my book is apparently in an office somewhere, is there anyway i can get these idiots off my back? im prepared to pay the loan off still ive never not paid it, i might have missed a week here or there but ALWAYS made that up the next time

regards

Jon
