Greasypalm: on a scale of 1 to dodgy

I'm suprised nobody has flagged them up before?
If you are using that site then you should make sure you don't use the same email+password combination on a site of importance.
Issues:
Your password is stored in plaintext
They have no HTTPS - your details can be clearly read by anyone intercepting traffic
I was looking at it as an addition to TCB there's no way I'm trusting my bank details with them now. Will look at Quidco as a future addition instead
I've reported my concerns to them but chances are they won't do anything about it or it will take a while. At least they're not as high level targets as Sony etc

TCB and Quidco are currently the two major cashback sites worth using. They cover any shops/sites that you can get cashback from anyway.
I signed up to Greasypalm years ago. I think it may have been an offer on another site to sign up for it. Never got close to the point of being able to cashout. I did use it for a little while, but gave up and haven't been on again in years. I think it tracked all right, but can't remember for sure.
Legit or not I really don't think it's worth using at all. Stick with TCB and Quidco.0 -

How do you know how the passwords are stored unless you have access to the web server files?
HTTPS ... MSE forums, and most other places, have no HTTPS.
HTTPS is mainly for protection when SPENDING money.
The above said, i woud not use them anyways, as they pay less per offer on many things.0
