I've won a few prizes from them - a burger and cocktail meal, Cameron Diaz book and a month's worth of bubble teas!

I assume the collect thing is because they're often from London-focused companies and want to get out to that audience, maybe?

No worries - think I'm just a bit miffed as I really like some of the comps but Hackney is just a bit too far however I go to London quite a lot and still look at their website. Also their giftcard comps are places like urban outfitters. They are all over the place! Anyway the last 10 I have looked at are all collect in Hackney so might just have to start skipping without even going into the post. Great comps if you are near Hackney though and more likely to win due to the restriction.

For people who are not near London + cannot collect the items for Hackney it really is a shame. I'm near London but over the other side but I would go pick it up and just make it a day trip up to London. I agree with you completely when you said you don't understand why they cannot post the prizes! For giftcards etc I don't think it would take that much for a company to send it to you. I do hope some are not required to be collected in Hackney for you! :j

They did send my Cameron Diaz book out! They do bill themselves as a 'London Lifestyle magazine' though, I guess it's like other regional magazine/site comps that require entrants to live in the area/winners to pick up the prize locally, as that's their target market! Hopefully they offer more non-collection prizes for non-Londoners though

When I used to post the comps I always put in the title whether it was to collect or not (I stopped posting due to working more hours and not having the time). Maybe just ask the new poster of these comps if they will add London or Hackney collect to the title, as you cannot assume that every one is collect, so it would be nice not to miss out on those that aren't?

I've won with them and despite saying in the T&C collect from London, they posted my prize out to me.
