ccj and wanting to apply for a mortgage

Myself and my part are currently saving for a deposit to buy are first home, recently I did a credit report for us both and it came up that my partner had a ccj from 2012 we have no paid it (511 pound ( and are awaiting for it to show as satisfied, My question is will we struggle to get a mortgage ? I find it all so so confusing! we've planning on saving 10k and are looking for a house around 130,000 are earning are 33k between us, thankyou for you help!!!

You will struggle to find a mortgage with most high street lenders.

You should find a suitable whole of market broker, provide you credit reports and let them do their magic.

There could be high street lenders who you fit criteria with, the problem is you will be looking at 95% mortgages and scoring is going to probably throw this out with the few that may look at it.

One for a broker, I do think it can be placed, the difficulty will be getting this at normal rates but I would not rule it out at this stage.
