Had it confirmed it is timber framed. Just a nightmare as home report states "the majority" lenders will insist on these beads being removed as a condition of the loan.

I would not go down that route.
You will have the same problem when you come to sell on, and as I said before, filling the cavity was a very bad idea in the first place.

i work in this industry and depending on whether or not it was installed by a reputable company then it should be covered under a 25 year CIGA guarantee, this is an independent guarantee issued by an independent body so even if the installing company has gone bust they will have another company rectify the work.0

We have left it with the seller who is going to look into getting it removed and then we will take it from there.
