I only regularly use nectar. I keep forgetting my tesco clubcard when I pop I tot he express and it doesn't seem to let the points be added on anymore? :(. Anyway £40 on nectar card gained since May.

    Some tips.

    > Don't register the card straight away and you'll get a coupon saying X number of bonus points if you register your card.
    > When you register your card, don't select that you want bonus points emailed, you tend to get better offers in the mail.
    > Sign up to nectar online for a few bonus offers (eg I just got offered 500 bonus points for using sainsburys petrol). This website will also show you all the places you can earn points.
    > Sign up to sainsburys coupons website for even more rewards (eg I get offered 300 bonus points for spending over £15 weekly + bread, toilet paper etc bonus points).
    > Dont swipe your nectar card every time, eg if the shop is £4 don't bother, it's only 4 points/2 pence and you'll get better coupons if sainsburys thinks you don't shop solely there. (I've gotten £4.50 off my £30 shop for the last 4 weeks running and 4 weeks in May because of this)

Have you stumbled across the Sainsbury's My Coupons website yet? I've managed to accrue a few more points that way too. Not all of the items listed I wish to buy but have had some great 'Double' points and 5 x points on a £40 spend.

That's funny. I never get double or 5x points as my basket coupon. I always get 300 bonus points (£1.50) when you spend £15. I wonder if this is because when I used to get triple and double points coupons as till splits I never used them.

I didn't use them as they were usually just above my weekly shop eg £40 and I didn't think triple points on that was worth it eg triple points on £40 spend is 40p extra, but it's worked out to my advantage I guess because now they don't bother to offer me them. Guess that's a tip for anyone who spend less than £60 a week don't bother with the 5x coupons and theyll probably start offering bonus points instead.
