Printer

Looking for a printer. Wanting one where we can use cheap ink refils. Mainly used to print out basic stuff such as form's. Not bothered about colours or being able to print photographs.

Get a laser - much cheaper to run and probably not much more expensive to buy. I've had a couple of Samsungs for many years - small mono and big beasty colour and both have been ok on non-brand toner.

A mono laser can be much smaller than many inkjets and compatible toner cartridges are very cheap on ebay. I've got a LaserJet P1005 (now discontinued although you may be able to find one second hand - but tghere are certainly others which are similar) which has been going strong for years and does about 2,000 copies per £10 cartridge.
