The Sun Newspaper

Hi Folks,
I know this is not directly connected to money queries but I was just wondering does anyone in Northern Ireland still buy the Sun Newspaper.
I was never a fan of this rag and still find their coverage today that all the lies they printed about Hillsborough still unforgivable. Although I am no monarchist I find their latest wee front page jape showing a film from over 80 years ago of a young princess Elizabeth making a Nazi salute really bottom of the barrel stuff and in poor taste especially coming less than a month ago since she visited and laid a wreath at Auschwitz in memory of the poor souls who lost their life there. Am I alone thinking this ?

I buy no newspapers, read online and only if free.

Its a well known fact that 90% of the royal family and upper classes were Nazi sympathizers, then the war broke out.

The Daily Mail is still called the Daily Heil by many as their owner was a great lover of Hitler. Now they just say they are for the middle classes, but further right than Franco.

Back in 1933 few would have known or thought that Hitler / the Nazi party would go on to do what they did.

There was a lot that the Nazi party did before the war that was well supported and popular, particularly among the German people and leaders of other nations.

I agree. Totally inappropriate and unnecessary.

Hitler was considered a joke figure back then. Charlie chaplin's twin brother.

I've an encyclopaedia from about then where "Mr hitler has suggested various programmes of reform, some rather extreme." Well, they got that bit right.

it must be a slow news day .I wonder how long the sun have had that picture .
What do the Sun think should happen to Liz , arrest her ,force her to abdicate and make way for charlie and the camel .

I would like the sun to do a really interesting royal story ,something like who is Prince Andrews father .

Yea, but he was supposed to have planned it for years. The U.S. was still supposedly at peace with Germany then.
