You might find you get a better price if you use something like 'Solarguide' to supply a list of local installers and then ring them directly ? That may save your chosen contact from having to pay commission for being given your name.

FWIW, I paid less than that back in March 2014 for a standard one inverter 4Kw system with IBoost.

We went with Ecocetera - had quotes from 2 mentioned above but these guys did LG 3.05KW panels, Solaredge Inverter and thingies
forgot the name haha - 10 x 305 panels system £5600 - slightly over what some folks got but good job and works a treat - beat 1world and sunlight future quotes. Family business - the guy talks no end but any qs got answered.
