I'm going to be changing my career in the near future, been doing security in one way or another for most of my life but now I'm going into the asbestos industry albeit as a trainee but I'm really excited about the change and learning something completely new

The thing is, whatever you have done in the past.. be it factory worker, cleaner , anything.. your experience is always an asset for what you later choose as a career(and this will change over the years)
    Good luck

I'm in my late 40's and in the process of a complete career change. I'm no longer looking for office work but something different - not sure what. I'm temping at the moment and seeing what takes my fancy.

Although I am not 30 yet, I went from being a police officer to working in event management (with some travelling in between). My brother went back to university to do a master's in his early 30s and now works in Sustainability. I don't think it's ever too late to change career if you want it enough and are willing to work hard at it.
