Hi
yet again asking for a friend! He is due to collect a new car on Monday , last week he paid £1000 deposit, and arranged the finance through Audi . The dealer has just called to say the car won't be available on Monday as they've just sold it?
Where does he stand?
Many thanks
as always

What do his finance documents say?
"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."
  • I don't know sorry -he's gone to the garage to see what 's happening.
He had a special deal on the demonstrator, so I think we're hoping he'll have a car of the same spec?
is there any thing particular I should look for on the finance agreement?
    thanks

You need to see whether your friend has signed to buy a particular car, or whether he's signed to buy one of several cars with nearly-identical spec.
