How much do Marks & Spencer staff get paid

I've just been offered an interview for Customer Assistant at Marks & Spencer and was wondering if anyone knew how much the hourly rate is. The advert and staff details only say that the salary is competitive

I don't know the exact rate, but I had a friend who worked there whilst we were still at school and she stayed with them right through uni.
This is going back 13 years or so, and she was always on a 'decent' wage. She was also treated very well as an employee and had good benefits.
Could have changed by now I guess, but she really enjoyed her time there - I was always jealous that there were never any jobs came up for me :rotfl:
