Halifax Mortgage Application Process?

Is anyone familiar with the Halifax process and what happens next? AIP done about 2 weeks ago, full application done on 10 July, valuation booked for tomorrow. Have checked Experian and looking like full credit search was carried out on 10 July (which has impacted on my score by the way - does this matter?). I am just wondering what the next steps are once the survey is carried out and how long the process normally takes?

I heard from my broker the afternoon after the valuation in the morning that the application has been accepted.0

That is just my one off experience... I'm sure one of the brokers will be able to confirm if this is usual.0

It will normally be offered a day or two after the valuation comes back.I am a mortgage broker.
