Personal Finance Agreements

Hi Guys,
Last year in June I ordered a fitted bedroom from Hammonds. They turned up and started fitting it and straight away I wasn't happy with it at all. However they assured me it would be lot different when fitted (I couldn't see me changing my mind) Anyhow the last day of fitting I raised my concerns that the build, fitting and quality of the product was far, far, far from my expectations! There was damage to the panels, nothing lined up, doors didn't shut properly so on and so forth. I called Hammonds up to raise my concern the day the fitter left and they assured me they would send someone out. Their technician never turned up! I called them back asking where he was and that I'd come out of work early (costing me money as I freelance) they just dismissed me and gave me a new date. The fitter never turned up again! So again I called them up and asked why he didn't turn up and again it's cost me money! Yep, again they gave me a new date, that came and when with no one showing up! I called them pretty much every couple of days for 4-5 weeks and got 'nothing' back! I then called them up at the end of Nov beginning of Dec after not hearing anything for months and months. I spoke to a lady who advised me they didn't know anything about me or my fitting!!! I advised her you did indeed come and fit a bedroom and the finance agreement was 'xyz' - nothing! She then told me she would call me back! Only last week I heard from Barclays who ran the finance asking me why I wasn't making payment on my agreement now the 0% interest free had finished. I told them all of the above and more, and it was only then Hammonds began calling me asking me when they can come around and fix the issues! I told them I don't want them fixing I want it ripping out as I'd previously explained it's far beyond what I expected. So I'm looking for a little help on what I can do here? What are my rights? So just to go back through; Poor Bedroom quality, no one turning up for appointment's I have to keep calling them to get answer then I give up and 11 months later they come to me telling me they're now going to repair everything and now want their money!
Can anyone point me in the right direction of what I need to do next please?
Thanks in advance

After 11 months you are going to have a job to prove that you have not ''accepted'' the furniture.
I would have gone round to the store and waited there until the highest manager sorted things out.
Have you got phone records to prove what you have been saying about contacting them on almost a daily basis?

I agree with previous comment, you should have done more if you weren't happy. I wish you luck in getting it sorted.

You also need to check what sort of damage you've done to your credit rating by not paying the finance. Hopefully you only have one or two missed payments rather than a full blown default.
