mortgage vs unsecured loan

I need about 25/30,0000 and according to a few loan calculator i could theoretically get an unsecured loan of that amount.
What do people think? whats the pros and cons?

The only pro's of securing a loan on your property are to achieve the lending you need, or obtain a better interest rate.I am a Mortgage Broker
