It's Wednesday afternoon. Time for afternoon tea. I'll put the kettle on and get some biccies out. I haven't had time to bake today. But I'm definitely in need of a cuppa and a friendly chat. So come and join me and meet some new friends. Come and share your news.

Hi CS - looks like I'm in time for a brew this week. I went out, half an hour ago, to walk into town and the heavens opened - so I've come back home looking and feeling like a drowned rat  . Milk, no sugar please. How is everyone?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I did loads of baking yesterday - sure I can rustle up a plate of something yummy!
I don't seem to have woken up all day today, so perhaps a cuppa would do me some good.
Hope everyone's having a good day! We are just chilling

I'm having a good day/ bad day, It is just flitting about from extremely good to extremely bad with none of the in-between bits.
I thought a nice sit down and a cup of tea might help to even things out a bit.
If I'd known you were going for a walk Rog, you could have taken my dog.:DFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

Hi
Have not got time to stop but if any one would like some HM stew they are more than welcome. I have cooked enough to feed a small independant countrys full time army so i will leave it on the side and you can help yourselves. Done proper as well with HM chicken stock. Feel free to dive in. Don't be shy:rotfl:

Hi everyone!
Hypno, i'd love to nosey at your muffin recipes you mentioned yesterday - especially if they're all freezeable - do you have any recipes on the OS forum anywhere?
I'm ridiculously bored at work today. Finish at 6 and am heading home to do lots and lots of AQA and washing. And maybe watch some CSI on DVD. OH is away for a job interview in the morning and i'm crossing my hands, eyes, fingers and legs that he gets it as my money has no chance at all of strecthing far enough this month, let alone next
Earl grey with a splash of milk for me - anyone else? x0 -

Talking of tea does anybody still use a teapot or even a strainer nowadays. All seems to be tea bag in cup and away you go. I remember my grans tea that was strained and to this day it takes a lot to beat the taste of that even though you ended with tea leaves all over your teeth like you had been eating an ants nest. :rotfl:
