*do I have to accept loan?
Hi I am with nationwide and currently have a loan of£ 2300ish with 13months left. I got a quote of 8.9% to top up my loan with an extra 10000. I didn't apply as I wanted to see if I could get a better rate. I applied with cahoot santander with a representative rate of 3.6% I had to apply i did this online. It said I had been accepted with a 15%. I haven't signed anything yet? Ticked the declaration box. I don't want to accept this loan can I cancel this and will this affect my credit rating if I try to apply with nationwide? Can I apply for a differed loan straight away or will I have to wait till I recieve paperwork in the post?

Contact them and tell them you would like to withdraw from the loan.

It will leave a search on your credit file, which could impact future applications.
