job advice needed

Hi

i have been in my current job for two year, generally quite happy with the role.

Out of know where consultation, my level have been de-establish.

I was advise my manager to go for the job under her which is higher salary plus higher tier but first option will be given to colleagues who are in that current tier. Oh and she is not on the interview panel her boss will be.

The interview is two weeks time, I've got a job offer come in last Friday from another company salary wise slightly less than what I'm on but have a decent career progression and a job as well.

The problem I have now should I wait or can I accept the offer from the company. If I don't get the job I want in company a then leave?
