Halifax full application

Hi - can someone with experience please tell me what to expect at the full application with the Halifax? We have an AIP.
It's a long meeting it seems - 2 hour slot? What is covered and what do I need to know before hand?
I have provided the documents that the AIP said we would need. Do we get told there and then if the application is successful or is that only pending the valuation of the house? I have read on here that people wait for them in the post which would suggest you don't hear there and then however I don't want to assume. Alternatively I guess I should ask if we get told there and then if it's unsuccessful?
Thanks.

The 2 hour slot covers all your incomings and outgoings. It probably won't take the whole two hours unless there is something unexpected.
They then call back with mortgage advice telling you the product and term they recommend and ask if you want to proceed. After that, they send a KFI and other stuff and request details from you.
They then take the valuation fee and conduct a full credit search.0
