Anyone tried freezing eggs?

My online shopping arrived today and 9 out of a box of 15 eggs were cracked/broken. I contacted them and was refunded for the whole box but they don't want them back
I can tell that they are only very recently broken - probably during transit or as the delivery guy dumped them in my kitchen (he was a bit heavy-handed
) I'm sure they are perfectly edible and don't want to throw them away. If it was only a couple, I'd just break them into a cup and use/refrigerate them but I doubt they'd last long enough out-of-shell for me to use up 9 (only two of us here).
I was thinking of whisking and freezing them in portions of 2 for omelettes/scrambled egg, but egg is a funny substance and I'm not sure what would happen - especially texture-wise.
Has anyone ever done this, and how did it turn out?

Works fine ... I lightly whisk first then portion them up in ice cube trays or bags.
You don't even have to whisk them up if you don't want - just crack each egg into an ice cube tray0 -
Did not know you could do this with eggs. I must give it a try. As I have some ice cube bags sitting in the kitchen draw doing nothing.0

Wonderful
Did they cook up OK afterwards - I've heard of people using frozen egg in cakes but am unsure what an omelette/scrambled might turn out like - and if un-whisked, do they still make a decent fried egg?
It's just that they're part of my meal plan, and if I can still use them for all the purposes I originally intended (which didn't include baking), it'll save me having to go out and buy another box.......Don’t try to keep up with the Jones’s. They are broke!0 -
When i first left school i had a Summer job smashing eggs.
We had to unpack them and put them on a conveyor taking them down to the women who smashed and seperated them, whites in one box, yolks in another. Then they got frozen.
They were sold to places like Sayers for making cakes, some only wanted the yolks and others would only want the whites.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
