I've been working for my current employer for nearly 2 years (3 weeks shy), in this time I've had many problems with them from paying wages late to unlawful deductions. In the two years I've worked for them I have never received a P60, no matter how much I chase them up for it. I have two issues atm and I don't know what to do.
1)I phoned the tax office to inquire if I am due a rebate and they have not received their copy of my P60 for the last tax year. What can I do? They have been deducting tax and NI from my wage every month but I now feel its likely the HMRC haven't been receiving it.
2)I phoned the tax credits to try renew my claim (I don't have my true total income for 2014/15), they informed me that my employer contacted them with a figure for the last tax years earnings that is nowhere near the true amount, its about 7k short! I told the adviser that the figure they were given isn't correct and explained the situation and gave them the figure I have-again not a correct figure but not as far off as the one given by my employer. I've no idea what I should do next?
I can't pull my employer on it as however crap they are its still a job. I am in the process of finding a new job and will hopefully be successful in the near future. I have been honest with the tax credits and HMRC but have a feeling the mess my employer has caused will come back to bite me! Please, any advice would be appreciated.

Before making any serious waves at work, make absolutely sure you've been there for over 2 years. Until that day sit tight.Pants0

That's what I'm waiting for but when the day comes I've no idea what to do!:(0

At that point, put together a letter asking them to provide you with your P60 for 2013 and 2104, state that while you have requested this before, you have still not received it for either year.
Do you get pay slips? Can you provide your month 12 / week 52 payslip to HMRC in relation to your tax credits claim?
You can contact your local tax office and ask them to check that you tax and NI have been correctly paid. http://www.uktaxcalculators.co.uk/ is a useful tool to let you see what you should have paid, and there is a reverse calculator as well where you can calculate your gross pay based on your net..
if you have payslips showing the Tax and NI has been deducted but it has not been paid to HMRC then they can force the employer to pay.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0

            Thank you for replying.
I do have payslips, but I believe the total figures on these are false! I've had a look at my payslips today and I noticed the tax & NI amounts don't tally up from month to month.
The advisor I spoke to taday on the tax credits line took the total figure I had and said to phone up when I get the actual figure. I'm just afraid I'll end up with an overpayment.0

 Indeed.
Technically, one week's statutory notice counts towards the two year period so if it is really urgent you could start making waves a few days sooner.
Be aware though that any longer period of notice specified in your contract doesn't count for this purpose.0

After doing a bit of searching on Google, and the company is no longer on the approved list for the regularity board they used to be. I've searched under the name I know them as and the new name I've heard off work colleagues.
Am I right to think I'm just completely screwed now? Even if I wait another few weeks to pull them what protection have I got, if the company no longer seems to exist?0
