                    Hi all
This is officially my first ever job interview today at 6:30 and I am so nervous. I had a weekend/holiday job when I was in sixth form for a few months, but it was just in a salon doing basic admin tasks and I never had an interview for it, I just applied and she called asking when I could start.
I applied for a weekend job (whilst I am not at uni) as a receptionist in a vets surgery. The owner (and employer) called me and said he read my cv and would like to organize an interview. Despite not having much prior experience of really working a reception, he probably read that in my cv.
My question is how did your interview go if it was to be a receptionist? Did you have prior experience? What kind of questions did they ask?

You've probably had your interview by now, but for future reference they ask standard competency questions. Things relating to good customer service. Just demonstrate these qualities in your answers, come across pleasant and you'll do fine.0

I'm not a receptionist but we employ several!
They may ask you about experience with computer systems, if your role will involve making appointments etc.
They will be looking for someone polite and organised.
Good Luck. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
