What to wear to RBS call centre job

So I start a new job in less than 2 weeks time at RBS, Edinburgh Call Centre as a Customer Service Advisor. I have no idea what the culture or dress code is. I will be working a mix of daytime and evenings. I was guessing daytime would probably be a smart formal shirt and possibly a tie (but not sure as is not customer facing role). Evening time is possibly jeans? I definitely need to buy a few new shirts but not sure if I will need ties.
Thought worth an ask in case someone on the inside knows.
