Got mine from Asda. Their own brand in brushed stainless steel about £10-£15. Also Argos do a good range of toasters. If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
Why practice!:T0 -
Bought the 4-slice stainless steel Russell Hobbs in December from Argos. It's now driving me mad - pops up after 5 seconds if you can get it down at all. Which Online also noted this problem with another Russell Hobbs. Now turning house upside down for receipt!0

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm also on the lookout for a 4-slice toaster, ideally it would have a warming rack and the option to use two slots only - saves on the electricity when only making a couple of slices!

I know it's strange asking people to recommend a toaster
but I already bought a duff one wihch broke after 2 months, so it would be good to get a recommendation from someone who's happy with theirs. Thanks

Yes I have this problem too, I like my toast "toasted", but even on the max setting the most you can hope to acheive is "warmed bread", as well as the toasters inability to fit the standard sized bread into the toast slot. (Maybe it was meant only for malt loaf).frostyspice wrote: »Bought the 4-slice stainless steel Russell Hobbs in December from Argos.
