    Let's be blunt about this.

    The OP clearly doesn't like the current government and complains that it was elected by just 24.7% of the electorate and that therefore something must be done.

    He does not appear to be concerned by the fact that the government that got us into the current mess was elected by a mere 21.6% of the electorate. One supects therefore, that it is not the 'political system' that he objects to, but the result. The last election produced the wrong result, and so we should change the system in order to get the right result.

    Start a petition on change dot org, then see if people are into your new political system, I personally dislike our current one. UKIP got 1 seat and were the 3rd most voted party.
