Popped into Asda tonight - and they had a display of these - 50p for a 750g box and they're dated until JUNE 2016!

    £2.98 according to their website so may be a 'managers special' just at your store

    There was a shelf edge with 50 signage. The other thing on was pickled beetroot but yes, the offer was not on the website!
    Wasn't tempted by the beetroot, strangely!

    I was wondering if they were reduced because of damaged boxes. My local Asda certainly didn't have them at 50p.
    I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

    none in the Asda i am currently working in have gone look
    sometimes they have have damaged boxes reduced to clear though

    weren't damaged; and, as I said, long-dated, but whatever the reason for the bargainous price was they've gone now
