I am considering becoming a Younique presenter to earn a little bit extra cash. I've seen all the reviews from people who already do it and spoken to people but I'm looking for some unbiased views too.
My partner is 100% against it and thinks it's a scam, waste of money (fir the starter pack) etc.
I kind of think that there is not much to lose.
Would be grateful for some other points of view.
Thanks

I sell Younique and I LOVE it!
I like to think am quite open and honest, I don't earn £100's...hell I haven't earned that in total yet but I joined because I LOVE the mascara, genuinely love the stuff and recently fell in love with the cream shadows so I figured the commission was better in my pocket than others. I also blog so it means I have constant content with new products, monthly kudos etc.
I've done Avon and Ann Summers before and didn't click with them at all, I ended up owing them money. At least with Younique once you have the kit then you don't actually have to pay out any more money to them with it being online focused. Yes you can buy catalogues or print them off and put them in nice, reusable folders, yes if you want to do home parties and stalls you really should build your kit but you can have plenty of success with just the Presenter's kit.
My husband was against it, I ended up having to earn extra cash online so it didn't come out of the family money but I was determined to do it.
I've never known a company so willing to help others and the support is phenomenal.
You can have success with it but it won't just fall on your lap, I spend a few hours a week online in total popping up posts on my business page, chatting to other Presenters and customers but I love social media so I'm always around.
If you have any questions, please feel free to fire them at me. Like I said, I'm honest and transparent when it comes to Younique...believe it or not I seriously didn't like the company before they launched over here; I made my views about them very clear on another forum but I soon changed my mind after months of research. The members of that forum were a little shocked when I announced I was now a Presenter haha0 -
Thanks for that :-)
I have the mascara (and a lip gloss on order) and I like it too.
I think, if it wasn't for my OH being so negative about it then I would already have signed up. He keeps telling me the products aren't worth the money, (I actually had a really good look at all the products my friend has and they seem really good quality to me), that the market is already saturated with so many people already selling it so why would anyone buy it off me, that I haven't got enough friends on fb etc. I would just have liked his support I guess.
I work full time anyway but tend to be on fb in the evenings so thought I might aswell have a go at it. I'm not expecting to earn massive amounts and I'm not even sure I would be any good at it however I also think it may help me be a bit more confident and positive (something else my OH scoffs at lol).
Maybe I just need to get on with it regardless of what he says.
I wanted to sign up before the 15th but think I will have to wait until payday on 28th at the very least.0 -
I can say that starting Younique has given me a little confidence boost, as I am now technically my shop windows I have found that I'm making more of an effort on myself than before.
If you already love the products (and it sounds like you do) then you're not really losing out.
My husband is still sceptical about the whole thing though I wonder if that will change after my mascara order goes in tomorrow
Fingers crossed that you still get 2 mascaras in your kit0 -
Thanks.
Not sure it will still have two mascaras in by the time I get paid on 28th 😒0 -
A million mascaras is a lot, you have a chance0

I've just signed up to Ann Summers. You pay £50 for the kit, then you just have to pay for extra catalogues & bags when you need them.
Not sure if it will make me any money but it's my new hobby!
Couldn't sell make up as I don't really wear it that oftenDebt free date 23rd march 2009 🥳Autism is my super power 🏳️🌈 🌈✨0 -
Good luck with Ann Summers Lilly.
I wasn't a big make-up wearer until I hit 30 last year then I became obsessed with playing with it. I don't wear it every day in fact I haven't worn any for over a week now because I've just moved house but I can still sellA friend has just ordered from me after I sent her a Facebook PM about some news I have and I didn't even mention the mascara haha
