Jewellery making!

I was hoping to make something like this -

Is there anyone who can reccomend somewhere I can get the wire from? I'm looking at Ebay, and trying to learn what thickness would be needed etc - any advice please? Thankyou muchly :)

    As someone from an engineering background my first thought was stainless steel welding wire.

    I would suggest 2.5mm dia for the main wires and 1.5mm dia wire for the small parts.
    If you can get it then go down to 2mm and 1mm as it will be easier to work and look more delicate when finished.

    As for where to get the wire, any engineering or welding supplier will have it in stock, they should even have brass and copper wire as well.

    Quite a few suppliers in the Shrewsbury area, even if you just go in and ask to look at the wire :)
    Doing the swirls is quite easy if you can make a peg board.
