Discovered DMP company may ripping me off

I have recently had notification from the FCA that a company that was dealing with my DMP has been potential pocketing upto 90% of my contribution. I did have question marks over them and now setting up official ombudsman complaint . fingers crossed I can get some of my cash back...so angry right now

Sorry to hear that. Company name? Have been a few in trouble so wondered if one we'd already heard about or not?

Traded as Haydon Associates/Resolve money matters/Clearview. I have email and requests (unfulfilled) for historic statements so using these to back up complaint . Not sure what the situation is if they are found out to have been completing malpractice..hoping its smoother for compensation claim

Sorry to hear about this, but at least you found out now rather than further down the line.

Not sure what the FCa have suggested but there are plenty of fee-free DMP providers or you could go self managed. There is a great community of DMPers over on the DMP mutual support thread

I use payplan....no complaints about them at all...they have been very good......
