T Mobile Default issue

Hi,
I am looking for some advice - I was looking through my Experian report and I came across a default from T Mobile - I left T mobile about a year ago and it looks like I owe then 27 pounds. I am assuming from fees as part of closing the account down or an extra month - I don't have any documents from them regarding this.
This is now showing on my Experian report as a default which is knackering my credit score.
If I cal them and pay this 27 quid will they/ can they remove this default.
Other than wait for 6 years whet other options do I have?
Thanks
Frank

Common mistake people make with mobile contracts is they forget that a final bill will be produced after giving there 30 days notice, that could be what's happened here, you can ask them to remove the default from your file in exchange for payment, but as its such a small amount of money, there's not much incentive for them to do so, you may have to take the hit on this one unfortunately.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
