Hi everyone
I need some advice here.
Currently I am employed by company a which I was quite happy working for but we had to undergo a restructure. My tier have totally been remove, leaving 1 role in my current tier which I don't really want to go for as it is different to my current job.
I was advise my manager to go for the job under her which is higher salary plus higher tier but first option will be given to colleagues who are in that current tier. Oh and she is not on the interview panel her boss will be.
The interview is two weeks time, I've got a job offer come in this Friday from company b, salary wise slightly less than what I'm on but have a decent career progression and a job as well.
The problem I have now should I wait or can I accept the offer from company b. If I don't get the job I want in company a then leave?
As technically I am under threat, although doing headcount there is enough jobs for everyone but some might need to take a lower tier job.
The reason why im asking is I do like to stay at company a as the boss is good to me etc but due to circumstances which have led me to apply for another job.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
