I've not had the email either. I've been on a DMP with SC since 2010 and I've just gone through a review with them but nothing was mentioned.

Another one here who hasn't had the new Ts &Cs e-mail.
I'm a bit concerned about one of the new amendments:
There are two additional instances when we’ll end your agreement - if you don’t complete your annual DMP review when we ask you to (clause 3.3) .......or
I always seem to be a bit late doing my review:o. This is normally because there is some largish change of circumstances in the pipeline and I want to wait until it's finalised before changing anything in my budget/payment plan. I'm only talking about 4 or 5 weeks but they then send me an emailed reminder about it and I get onto it straight away:o. I wonder how much leeway they'll give now before they boot us off:eek:
Must keep on top of this and stick rigidly to the dates just in case;)0 -
Surprise! Anyone else get the email today? Methinks SC read our little thread
Yes I'm always late with the review for the same reasons CBC so not sure what will happen, perhaps if we contact SC and let them know?Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

Hi everyone,
just read all the posts, I've been at work. Well it would appear that it's not just me who's had the e mail now! I am going to slowly but surely get all my creditors details, do the cca requests, try & do some f&f settlements on the small ones and make a plan for self management to get rid of this debt sooner rather than later. I want to be back in control of it all & need a new start.DMP MUTUAL SUPPORT THREAD MEMBER 3780 -

Me neither:(0 -
Yeah, I've just had the email. Maybe they're just slow at getting them all out, or are doing it in batches. I know upon changing my address they suggested I do a review last year but I didn't bother as everything was still the same. They didn't warn me of any consequences to the agreement. At first I thought it may be specifically for me because of this, but as others have said, it is really a general terms change / outline.
I would imagine that if any specifics were brought up, they would do so personally with warnings of any dangers to the agreement.
They may have come under pressure from their backers / sponsors (the banks no less I believe) to tighten up their ship.DO NOT PANIC.
The future is looking good now...0 -
New bank account opened for self-managed DMP (gave up with HSBC because Yorkshire Bank do a basic account I can open online with an instant decision....and it was YES:j)
So I am printing off letter to SC to tell them we are moving to self-managed.
One question to anyone who have moved from managed to self-managed already. We would like to do token payments for 1 or 2 months to build back up our much depleted emergency fund. Do you think there will be a problem with this? If you did this, what did you say/what reason did you give?
Thanks for any help and advice.
I am quite excited at only paying BC £1 per month until defaulted....it's sad what's makes me smile these daysDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
