I received the following email earlier on and wanted to hear your opinions on it. I think it is a scam of some sort, but didnt want to delete it just in case!

    Why would they need to send you a consolation prize of a laptop if you'd won that much money????

    Just delete it.

    Thanks for posting though. If I get a 'lucky':rolleyes: email like that I can dispose of it too. I would put it in the competition scams sticky here to warn other folks as well.

    Good luck for the decent comps though.:D

    emails lioek these which have either a yahoo address or hotmail email address are def spam - also one where the contact number is a 0790 number etc
