Last night I went to an event where they put a mark on your arm in permanent marker for re-entry. It was really warm and somehow during the night this blue ink transfered into smudges on my tan leather Radley handbag. Last night I tried cleaning it with Radley leather cleaner, but the stain wouldn't budge. Now it's dried it actually looks worse as the cleaning has removed some tan colour around the stains so now there are light patches with blue marks in the middle!!
I'd really appreciate any tips on a) how to get rid of the blue ink and b) how to restore the tan colour - if I did the whole bag with a tan leather product would this make it even?

I'd go to a cobblers like Timpson as they know their stuff and show them your bag. You may need to clean the rest of it and use tan show polish but as the cleaner didn't lift the marks I would go for a professional opinion.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009.
